am currently working on spray lotions. What i have found out so far is that the spray pattern of the product not only depends on the product design but also on the design of the spray bottle.

but since i have less exposure on packaging design can any one explain me how packaging design impacts sprayability of any product.
Also can u suggest some suppliers of good spray pumps.
The product that i have made is sprayable only through a particular pump but once i change pumps it starts spitting rather than spraying.

You have run into one of the basic truths - packaging is an integral part of new product design. Talk to your packaging supplier for more info - tube diameter, spring strength, pump design, and orifice size all impact the way a product sprays out of a container.

@lopamudra , have you found a suitable pump? I am having the same problem.
