  SDA assay by density meter

  Have any of you alcohol hand sanitizer compounders/manufacturers used a digital density meter for determining ethanol content? I know it can be done and validated, since the density of SDA:water is linear throughout the working ratio range. Rudolph Research makes an excellent one. The GC method works fine, but then you need to buy a GC. Just checking…
