  Prevent discoloration in Hair Moisturizer

  Due to the high vanillin content in the fragrance that I’m using in a hair Moisturizer, the product changes color from white to pinkish/brown. This happens when it comes into contact with foreign elements that contain metal (iron aluminum etc) . This doesn’t happen with it comes in contact with plastic, glass or any other material. Any advice on what could possibly prevent this? Thank you
