phenoxyethanol is thinning my formula!!
hii i’m trying to make a surfactant based wash and using phenoxyethanol as my preservative, but it’s decreasing the viscosity of my product. i’ve already tried adding hpmc and nacl but it’s not increasing the viscosity enough.
i’m considering using carbomers, any suggestions? thank you in advance 🙂

To give you a better advice, you need to list your formula ingredients without percentages. Also, what’s the level of Phenoxyethanol you’re using and when and how you’re adding it.
