Phase inversion of W/O cream
Halo… I am in the project of making W/O cream. One of the characteristics of the cream that I would like is the cream is resistant to water but easily washed off when rinsed. I’ve done my accelerated stabtest but my cream undergoes a PHASE CHANGE (phase inversion) from W/O to O/W.
I used glyceryl stearate & cithrol gms 40 for the body of cream
I used span 80 & plurol oleique cc 497 for rinsing (resistant to water but easily washed off when rinsed)
Does anyone know what the causes is? Thankyou for your help.
