Melkfett, aka Milking grease formulation
Hello,
in the recent past, I find a cosmetic product, with the name melkfett.
It is containing petrolatum, paraffinum liquidum, glycine soja oil, some flower extracts, like calendula officinalis, or chili, whatever. Tocopheryl acetate, and some fragrance.
But I do not see any ingredient here, which make saponification here, but after testing, it seems like a grease, not like vaseline.
Do you have an opinion about this? Could be used some base here, but after the reaction, it is no more in the system, for why it is not listed in ingredients? What could be used? NaOH, with water? even water is not listed here.

It is an anhydrous product based entirely on lipids and the active ingredient is a salycilate.

Petrolatum is a designation for a number of ingredients with a wide range of properties. It’s possible that they used a high-melt-point petrolatum that acts like a gelling wax, rather than a vaseline.
