Maximum Variability in pH Level in a Packaged O/W Emulsion Product?
After an O/W emulsion, like a lotion, has been determined to be fully stable and then packaged in perfectly adequate HDPE plastic packaging; how much, if at all, might the pH level (+ or -) of the lotion naturally vary over a six month, one year, and one and a half year time frame during which there are no storage or temperature variation issues and the HDPE plastic packaging performs well?
I would greatly appreciate any and all answers, comments or discussion. Thanks!
