    Hello ,

    i am facing a problem of curling in mineral based sunscreen . After curdling spindle speed reduce and when i do hand mixing it uniform again . Can you please suggest me to overcome these problem.

    Zinclear xp65 coco disersion 13%( contain 65% of zinc oxide )

    Tio2 dispersion 1% ( contain 55% of Tio2)

    Emusifier _

    Glyceryl Stearate Citrate (and) Cetearyl Alcohol (and) Glyceryl Caprylate 3%

    Glyceryl MonoStearate -2%

    Hydrogenated Soy Polyglycerides (and) C15-23 Alkane.-1%

    Olivem 100 -2%

    Olivem 300 -2.%

    Olivem 2090-1%


    Process :I emulsify and then i add dispersion phase at 50*c . At last I add citric acid , perfume , preservative and vit E.

    Doing the math here - and excluding the coating on those UV screen minerals - I see you have 10.0% emulsifier-builder to emulsify 1.0% oil. That alone is not going to work. This puppy wants to invert Big Time. You also did not divulge your presumably external water phase, so all hope is lost here; and what’s up with the citric acid?

    @chemicalmatt i added citric acid at the end of the formula to decrease the PH, its above 7 .
