Hair Dye Regulation Question
Greetings all,
I hope everyone is safe and well. I wanted to create a hair coloring product, but I wanted to make sure that I understood the regulations (if any). On the Summary of Color Additives for Use in the United States, I do not see the INCI names listed for the hair dyes provided by Sensient (Basic Violet 2, etc.). According to Sensient’s website, the material is permitted. I just wanted to double check, as I do not see it as regulated material on the FDA’s website’s color additive section. Thanks in advance.
