I see the formula lose viscosity after 2 days. What can I do to fix it? Thanks

add a lil xanthan
add Hydrogenated polyisobutene a bit
drop diol a bit
or sub NaCl with Magnesium Sulfate
should be ok around 1 month or sopure KAPPAPHYCUS ALVAREZII EXTRACT 2? or KIRIBIRTH BG 2?
why w/o?

I would not add xanthan gum or any other gum or polymer to a water-in-oil (inverse) emulsion such as this one. Easier: reduce propanediol to half that amount and most importantly HOMOGENIZE the pants off this when complete. Bear in mind all inverse-phase emulsions are intrinsically unstable , so don’t freak out if you see a little syneresis under stability testing or after six months RT.

@chemicalmatt What’s the issue with propanediol in w/o? Are other diols better or even worse? That’s beyond the horizon of knowledge & experience
.Some manufacturers and theory say that polymers are actually a good thing (catchword Geltrap). However, it highly depends on the inner surface charge and the polymer’s charge as well as the amount polymer:interface -> failure is probably more likely than success if one simply guesses the amount of polymer to add.
