Good day everybody I am currently formulating a non-emulsion claymask paste in a jar and I am really having troubles with formulation. The formulation are as follows:

    Bentonite 34.34%
    Calcium Carbonate 34.34%
    Water 30.91%
    Rose Oil 0.09%
    DMDM hydantoin 0.31%
    Colorant 0.01%

The problem is the fumes of dmdm hydantoin, which is highly irritating to the eyes. Can anyone recommend a preservative for this system? I have also tried salinip XB ( blend of phenoxyethanol, propyl paraben and methyl paraben ) at different concentration ( 1%, 0.5% ). However, it produced a highly irritating sensation in the skin as it is left longer on the skin.

Phenoxyethanol Combo ( (Phenoxyethanol {and} Sorbic Acid {and} Caprylyl Glycol)?
    Benzylalcohol {and} Dehydroacetic Acid?
