    Hi everyone.

I formulated an extra rich cleansing gel that i have been testing for the past week twice a week and today to my surprise i saw like an allergic reaction/ like some kind of pigmentation on my face after using it

Here are the ingredients i have used

Aqua, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Coco-Glucoside, Glycerin, Glyceryl Oleate, Polyquaternium-7, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, PEG/PPG-120/10 Trimethylolpropane Trioleate, Saccharide Isomerate, Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Polyglyceryl-2 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Sodium Citrate, Disodium EDTA, Citric Acid, CI 42090.

Can someone please tell me which of these ingredients might be the culprit? Also is it possible for a product to cause an allergy after two weeks and not before?

Thanks a lot for your feedback

    Are you using any fragrance?

How many time had you used it in two weeks?

What is the pH and how much phenoxyethanol is there?

    It might be contaminated.
