    I do not have NF emulsifying wax - can I formulate my own “version” from cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol and polysorbate 80 (Hlb is 15)? Normally, emulsifying wax NF is cetearyl alcohol and polysorbate 60

    Yes you can. Try to check the SDS of the original material, so you know more or less which ratio of fatty alcohols/emulifier you need to add.
