  • Emerging makeup brand looking to hire formulator as consultant.

Hello! My company, Undine Creator Cosmetics is looking to hire a cosmetic formulator to assist in finalizing our airbrush makeup formula. Our company specializes in products designed for the body painting, special effects, and extreme makeup artist market. Our flagship product is a silicone-based airbrush makeup that delivers superior performance, wearer comfort, and affordability compared to the current market benchmarks.

Our prototype is a single-phase formula relying on a silicone film former and alcohol carrier. The prototype has performed exceptionally well as proof of concept, however, we have plateaued our in-house knowledge and capabilities and are looking to hire an outside consultant to advise on refining the formulation into a market-ready product.

Specifically, we will need feedback on the following:
    Easier removability without compromising longevity.
    Reducing volatile vapor content
Better pigment suspension within the carrier
Determining the optimum load for each colorant.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate candidate who can work independently and maintain an open dialogue as we work together to build a product serving an energetic and growing new market.

We are a new startup that anticipates being fully funded and equipped for market launch this summer. We are offering fair compensation with future collaboration opportunities as we continue to innovate.

    Please contact us at undinefx@gmail.com

    Best,
    Eric Undine

Hi there, just a suggestion but it may be useful if you were to state the country you are based in and markets you are intending to sell to, as formulators will be familiar with different markets whose requirements can vary from a regulatory perspective.

Also, if this is in any way a practical role, they will benefit from knowing where they might be expected to relocate to.

Oops thank you for pointing that out, sorry for the typical American exceptionalism.

We are based in the Southern United States and we are focusing initially on the North American Market. It would be great to find someone local but of course this unlikely, we can discuss the options for working remotely instead.
