  Effect of high shear mixer on HPMC

  Does high shear mixing (2800rpm) have any effect on viscosity of Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose in surfactant system?

  Who knows, but it’s advisable to avoid high shear mixing with any thickener system.

  @Belassi we only have inline homogenizer which is high shear. So for large batches we have to use that
