    I have been preparing liquid hand sanitizer an Dish wash. For these purpose i am using SLS as secondory and SLES as a primary surfactant. I have been getting problem in dissolving SLS POWDER in my formulation.. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

    @rosabell suggested me to dissolve it either in glycerin or in any Oil…i have tried dissolving 20 gm SLS in 5 9 ml glycerin then i added SLES which is followed by water but still lumps of SLS powder were remained..

    try heating the water before you dissolve it; it’ll take forever to dissolve in cold water

    1. heat water

    2. add SLS powder
    3. mix till dissolved

    Thnks Bill_toge sir but if i were to follow this process-
    Add glycerin
    Then add sls powder
    Then add Sles
    Ten add hot water …then ? Would it be correct

    try it both ways, that way you can find out for yourself which one’s best
