Comparation of deposition from two formulas CAPB vs amphoacetate
These two example formulas are from the same supplier.
Formula A has
SLES 12%
Sodium Lauroamphoacetate 4%
Jaguar® Excel cationic guar 0.2%
Nacl 1%
Silicone dimethicone 1%
Formula B has
SLES 14%
CAPB 2%
Jaguar® Excel cationic guar 0.2%
Nacl 1.5%
Silicone 1%
According to these data, formula A deposits 28% of silicone in hair and formula B deposits 42% of silicone.
What i have learned is amphoacetate helps deposition better than CAPB and more amphoteric helps deposition better than less.
My questions
1. Is what i have learned correct?
2. How in these two formulas, formula B deposits more silicone than formula A?
