Keratin is just for marketing.

Have you made any product before?
I think you have problem with a lot of things.
My suggestion is to study a lot or take a course to learn properly or hire a formulator to make a formula for you that works.
Hydrolyzed keratin doesn't perform any significant role in these products. Consider that the ingredient is hydrolyzed in order to the added to a cosmetic, which means, rather than having the full protein (which can have film forming properties), you have smaller pieces (mostly in the form of peptides). They can have many different molecular weights, but they are also more water soluble than the protein,which makes the chance of interacting with hair very low.
I'd advise you to focus more on the straightener's stability in your formula, and the conditioning agents, rather than the keratin (which you can find from many suppliers).
Keratin is what I would call a "claims" ingredient. The strategy companies do is make a standard straightener, add a small amount of keratin and then call it a keratin hair straightener. But the keratin doesn't really have much effect.
Another way is conditioner with silicones.

I was in your situation when i started thinking about making cosmetic products.
Let's make a few things clear
You don't know anything right now. (With respect)
The products you make will be worse than any product in the market. Accept this fact
If you want to make a good product, study some reputable books in cosmetic or take a reputable course like the course from this website to make learning faster and easier for you.
Or purchase a good formula from an good chemist with a good price and save yourself a lot of time and money and everything.
There are a lot of good chemist here an most of them would sell you formula.
And last, try and test and try and test until you make something good. That is how we learn and improve.
I have made about 400 different versions of shampoo that was not as good as what i am currently making.
I have washed my hairs several times a day, several times to find out the long term effect of it faster.
Like this my other products.
Do don't expect your first product sample to be the best for the next of your life.
