thickness of surfactant

Just wondering:
Does a higher active percent in surfactant (sodium lauroamphoacetate) mean it will generally be thicker?
The company I get it thru has recently changed suppliers and the product is considerably thicker so I was wondering if it was a different concentrate? Normal? or maybe more salt or something.

cheers.

  • @crillz the company should be able to provide documentation on the composition of each supplier. You can use that to understand what changed and adjust your formula accordingly.

Here in the US they make an SDS sheet available, and it will show the percent active range and other components.

Thanks, I contacted them and compared and everything seems very similar.
