I've made a deodorant/antiperspirant with a few actives a few days ago.
Point is, something seems to have precipitated as the cream feels like there is a bit of very fine sand in it.
A )
Distilled+deionized water ad 100
3.0% Glycerin
0.4% Allantoin
30.0% Locron L (50% aluminum chlorohydrate in water)
B )
6.0% GMS + Ceteareth-20
3.0% Cetearyl Alcohol
4.0% Triethyl Citrate
2.0% Dimethicon 100 cSt.
3.0% Isopropyl Myristate
B1 )
1.5% Sepimax Zen
C )
0.5% Cyclopentasiloxane
2.0% Vari Stan PE (Propanediol, Garcinia Mangostana Peel Extract)
1.0% Phenoxyethanol (90%), Ethylhexylglycerin (10%)
Phase A: 70C
Phase B + B1: 70C
A+B
<40C Phase C one by one.
Phases start separating immediately, but after vigorous high shear mixing it emulsifies into a very viscous emulsion, too thick for my pH meter to get a stable reading.
I don't know if the 'sand' is aluminum or allantoin.
Any ideas or suggestions?
