Gentlest way to add scent to a product? (Rose water? Cucumber? Some essential oils? Calendula?)
edited February 2014
Has anyone seen any data on this? The least skin sensitizing least risk of allergic reaction good smelling substance you could add to a product?
I really like the smell of e.g. Geranium, but I'm not sure it's particularly gentle.

Coffee bean oil. It is a popular scent and very few people are allergic to it.
Think i'll try rose water or cucumber, not a lot of reports on allergic or sensitizing reactions with those! But would be interesting to see some comparative data, also, obviously, depends on amount.
ask the supplier of these essential oils to send you their allergen statement and msds?
