    Hello everyone,
I’m formulating Anti Aging cream, but I’m confused about oil phase…
Is it ok to use 3-4% of shea/cocoa butter in the formulation? Will heavy butters prevent the active ingredients from penetrating? The rest 18% of oils are Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride and some light oils.
I love the light buttery texture I get as the result, but is it ok to leave it so?

    Thanks!

I am making a dish and I want to add 2tbs of sugar. Will it cause troubles? Will it be too sweet or not enough? There is no answer unless I mention the whole recipe and processing for it.

Same goes to yours question. How could we tell anything if you don’t provide the whole formula and manufacturing process?

Thank you very much for your answer. My formula is not complete at this moment. I want to make some changes, and then will post a new thread to ask for some guidance from chemists.
