Starting a cosmetic line

advice needed please

hi everyone

i was thinking trying a soap bar and make it as a line then i have discussed with a fried who already have a glycerin soap in the market and told me that my idea wont be succeeded as the bar would be expensive and suggested me to make a body wash and he would sell it to the customers.

the problem is, all the ingredients i already get was natural oils as i wanted to make a natural product and i made a liquid soap at home but it was useless due to expanses and it wont be into the market,

so how to get a synthetic formulation for a body wash ???

and is it applicable to add some oils but still within the low cost as i want to be different in the market ?????

or what do you think guys i have no experience in this and don’t know what to do

i have searched the internet but all i can get is natural recipes

another question ,how can i differentiate between bad and good formula before giving to to the manufacturer???

@amalgbr - You make the formula in a lab and see whether it meets your standards.
