Need help turning Vitamic C serum transparent

Hi community,

I'm new to formulating and wanted to make my own Vitamin C serum. I borrowed a recipe off making cosmetics:

Phase A (%)
Distilled Water 89.40
Glycerin 3.00
Sodium Gluconate  0.20

Phase B
Resveratrol 0.50
Caprylyl Glycol EHG (caprylyl glycol, ethylhexylglycerin)  1.00
3-Glyceryl Ascorbate Glyceryl Ascorbate (40% aqua, 30% glycerin 30% L-ascorbic acid)  5.00
 Hyaluronic Acid (sodium hyaluronate) 0.70
Xanthan Gum Prehydrated  0.20

I've switched MAP for glyceryl ascorbate and didn't use Resveratrol in the below formulation:

 Phase A
Distilled Water 89.4
Glycerin 3.00
Sodium Gluconate  0.20

Phase B
Resveratrol 0.50
Caprylyl Glycol EHG (caprylyl glycol, ethylhexylglycerin)  1.00
MAP  5.00
 Hyaluronic Acid (sodium hyaluronate) 0.70
Xanthan Gum Prehydrated  0.20

The serum is cloudy and I want to turn it transparent. I was told a bit of PEG40 would help but that didn't work. I noticed it initially turns cloudy when Caprylyl Glycol is added to phase A. Looking for suggestions. Reference picture:
