    Hello
when trying to copy a hair serum formula :
60% dimethicone and 38% cyclo methicone and 2% argan oil and avocado oil
the result is a serum that dries on the hands before it get he chance to be applied on the hair.
if i want it to last a little longer should i increase the argan oil for example or should i add something else
and will the silicons and oils stay mixed or will they separate ( i read that they won’t mix without some kind of stabilizer)

    any help is appreciated

D4 and D5 have recently been subject to further restrictions due to their environmental toxicity. I suggest you check. Still allowed in Mexico but as a responsible formulator I no longer use them.

I now D4 is restricted just about everywhere but I thought only the EU had restrictions on D5 now? Something like you can only use 0.2% max. What restrictions are in the US now?
