Is it possible to make a shampoo using only cocamidopropilbetaine and sls? I have those two spare here and don’t wanna buy other surfactants
    Thanks

Well, you’ll need to also use water and probably some salt to thicken it up. And fragrance is always nice along with a preservative system.  But yeah, SLS + Betaine makes a fine shampoo. That was the base surfactants for most VO5 Shampoos.

SLS can be irritating despite the CAPB.
Also, SLS can cloud and become stringy when thickened, unlike SLES.

IMO a 25% SLS, 75% SLES combination works better.
