Greetings to all the forum members.

I have started with the formulation of antiseptic disinfectant. The following is my formulation for 1 kg of finished product.

    1. Pine oil - 5 gm
    2. Benzalkonium Chloride 50% - 5gm
    3. Butyl Glycol - 10 gm
    4. Isopropyl Alcohol - 30 gm
    5. Nonyl Phenol Ethoxylate 8 moles EO - 7 gm

The product is transparent and clear but does not have any blooming effect. The blooming effect is a very important aspect of consumer acceptance. I made a few samples in the past which had blooming effect but were opaque in appearance. How can I achieve the blooming effect and transparency simultaneously ? I think the solubilization of pine oil is the major task.

Please provide your valuable opinion on this subject.
