    I saw the discussion on neutralizing labsa.. I need to know how much quantity of NAOH required to neutralize LABSA to get LAS….. Please let me know..

    It’s more like a titration and you would have to add it gradually to get the desired pH.

    Google LABSA molecular weight, then Google it for NaOH.
    That’s roughly the proportion needed, just do some simple math for the amount you’re using.

    Then you’d need to slowly add the last 0.5% or so while checking pH and adjust with additional NaOH to neutral or just slightly alkaline pH.
    Beware of highly acidic or alkaline pH levels as they can harm skin.

    Yesterday I tried to neutralize the labsa but while adding naoh the pH level is drastically changing.. After sometime I observed that it came to the colour which I want I mean golden colour of las but how to manage pH … How can we get faster result of las

    To Neutralize LABSA 96%;
    USE 12.8% Of the quality of LABSA
    For 100kg LABSA = 12.8 kg caustic soda 99% to ph 7.
    For 10 kg LABSA= 1.28 kg caustic soda
