    Panthenol doesn’t do anything in the formula either.

    What is the % activity of those surfactants?

    You could use some water soluble silicones or silicone-surfactant emulsions. As @Perry said, 2% is sheer waste and you could do with 0.1% also since it is a rinse off product.

    I agree with @Chemist77. Used this one in a showergel. A game changer!

    @ngarayeva001 how do you rate PEG-8 dimethicone compared to amodimethicone?

    @Gunther One distinct difference in the two materials is the fact that the PEG-8 Dimethicone is water soluble whereas they amodimethicone is not. The PEG-8 Dimethicone allows you to deliver some of the effects of a silicone in the aqueous partition.

    CDEA is way, way too high at 6%. What was the pH? It must have been off the scale because I see no neutraliser.
    I’d remove it and add 1.5% cocamide MEA instead - and won’t cause pH problems.

    @Belassi thank you
    Only I have cocamide DEA
    No MEA suppliers in my country
    Can I use CDEA with the same % that u mention 1.5%?
