Ascorbyl Glucoside and NaOH

I cannot figure out the reason why ascorbyl glucoside  is not compatible with NaOH but apparently with KOH it's ok.  Should other Na compounds be avoided?
Is it wise to use Ascorbyl glucoside along with SAP?
