    Hi there friends,
    i have a nice lotion base who absorb in my opinion too quickly and its lightly hydrate what can i add to make it more slipperysilky? thank you in advance on your advice

     here are the Ingredients: Aqua (Deionized Water), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Organic Aloe), Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil (Organic Sunflower), Isopropyl Palmitate, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Glycerin (, Vegetable), Butyrospermum Parkii Butter (Shea Butter), Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil (Organic Jojoba Oil), Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (Organic Green Tea), Centella Asiatica Extract (Organic Gotu Kola), Equisetum Arvense Extract (Horsetail), Geranium Maculatum Extract (Wild Geranium), Taraxacum Officinale Extract (Organic Dandelion), Stearic Acid, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin

    Try adding 0.5% Polytrap 6500 (INCI: Dimethicone petrolatum)

    haven’t had a chance to use this yet but polyisobutene1200 (INCI hydrogenated polyisobutene). I got it from making cosmetics. It claims mineral oil substitute and improved spreadability, but that’s up to you to interpret

    @Belassi gotta have that Polytrap 6500, you have mentioned it so often that I am compelled to check its efficacy and performance. What would be the best vehicle in your opinion, emulsion, anhydrous balm or something else???

    Emulsion. Dissolve it in the oil phase. It’s a very light powder. https://cosmetics.specialchem.com/product/i-amcol-health-beauty-solutions-polytrap-6500 - You can find it offered on EBay, by the way. Not expensive.
