I have an unusual challenge that may find an answer here. Here is the problem: I pack these dried herbs(lavender, marigold, chamomile) together in a muslin cloth bag and tie it up.
Then soaking it in water and keeping it piping hot it is then used as massage tool. The treatment is called a poultice massage. Anyway, I'm going through the dried herbs at a remarkable rate because they're used once only.
To cut down on the amount of product I need to add a little bulking
agent to the poultice that doesn't release water when it s squeezed and
handled. I'm at my wits end trying to find a suitable bulking agen that
won't take away from the power of my little poultices. I've tried
arrowroot, gelatin, collagen, agar but all these release their water
when handled roughly.
Ant help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
