I have a question for you guys, have you seen this mixture of surfactants LUMOROL K 5303 (Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate (and) Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate) is it 30% Active? I don’t have it but I have Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate 30% Active and sodium lauryl sulfoacetate 65% Active, and I made my own mixture I got 20% Active from Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate and 10% from Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate and 70% is water and 0.5% sodium benzoate. will it be preserved or should I put another preservative? Thank you!

Sodium benzoate will only preserve that surfactant blend if you adjust the pH to 5.0, whereby the solubility of sarcosinate begins to lessen. I would add an amphoteric hydrotrope  to make this a better mousetrap and make darn sure about that pH staying in the acid range. Might want to add tetrasodium EDTA as a chelant also unless you always wash yourself in deionized water.
