  • Substitute for Lithium magnesium sodium silicate

So Im working on a formulation that calls for Lithium magnesium

sodium silicate. I could only find it in the form of “hectorite gel” but when I add it to my oil phase the final product doesnt seem to have the hectorite completely homogenized and remains clumpy. Is there a different ingredient I could sub it out for? Preferably plant based if possible. I was thinking of using a mix of kaolin clay and tapioca starch. Thoughts? Thanks!
