Any tips for using cationic gaur in  formulating a clear shampoo using smct, decyl n coco glucosides.. I also wish to include aloe 2x and poly 10 for emollient.. I always end us with a hazy formulation..  thanking you in advance..

  • Remove cationic guar.
    That's it.
  • @Roopal I'd choose a cationic guar for clear systems, like N-Hance CCG 45. You could also make a sample without cationic guar, to rule out any other possible source of turbidity.

And don't use so much aloe. 0.1% is plenty.

Interestingly cationic guar for clear system is 3 times more expensive than regular cationic guar.
