I've been consulting both as I work on some client formula ideas. I have more on my 'library' shelf, but those two are the ones that wind up living on my desk for some reason.
It's used in esthetician/beauty therapist courses. It is a good book for beginners looking for a foundation in how and why products work on the skin, explains jargon and terminology, has a substantial dictionary of ingredients and what they do.
