  • Cocamidopropyl Betaine replacement for building viscosity with salt and anionic

    Hello there,

I am trying to find out if there are substitutes to CAPB that I can mix with SLS/SDS/Sodium Coco Sulfate (some anionic surfactants) and salt to build viscosity to gel-like form.

    It’s a powder-to-gel formulation.

CAPB in powder form is challenging to get and very expensive.

I have tried using xanthan and guar gum instead, but there is not enough foam. It takes a lot of water and rubbing to make formulations with those gums to start bubbling.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!!! ????
