  shampoo not fully solubilized

  Formula is as follows:

  1) water qs                                                                    100%

  2) Sodium LaurylglucosidesHydroxypropylsulfonate       19.00

  3) Cocamidopropyl Betane                                              6.00

  4) Sodium Bis-Hydroxyethylglycinate 
  Coco-Glucosides Crosspolymer                                      3.00
   
  5) Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate                                    9.00

  6) Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate                                           0.80

  7) Fragrance                                                                   0.05

  Caprylhydroxamic Acid and Benzyl Alcohol and 
  Glycerin                                                                          0.70

  Heated 1-4 to 50 C 

  Then it was difficult getting 5 & 6 to solubilize  with a submersion blender even if I pulsed the blender.Only made a 500 gram batch for starters. I was being careful not to remove the blender where by more air would be captured into the system. I was going to get a slow speed mixer like @Bobzchemist recommended for $170.00 but the shipping was $70.00. maybe next time.

  I did leave out #8 as I found it had not been shipped to me yet. while an important preservative, would #8 assist to solubilize the product.

  It looks like one of those christmas shaker globes with the snow. Maybe it is air bubbles in suspension. Can’t get a real clear view of it as it has not settled yet.

  I would only use an immersion/stick blender for making natural lye soap to bring the oils and lye solution to “trace.” 

  Using an immersion blender for synthetic soap (detergent), such as what you’re making here, incorporates tons of foamy, creamy bubbles that will take days or weeks to dissipate — and may not ever clear up completely.

  One of the first mistakes I made in my first batch of shampoo was using an immersion blender. I started mixing by hand, but then noticed a cloudiness which I interpreted as a solubility issue — so I got out my trusty immersion blender and  — big mistake.

  When making a shampoo or bodywash, I ALWAYS stir by hand VERY slowly. Even then, I will get some foam and cloudiness that may take a few days to clear up.

  Also, some fragrance oils will cause a permanent cloudiness that will never clear up.

  @jiroband Thanks for the help. I have contacted someone to help. I was told to heat the mix to the higher temp of 60 celsius. That did the trick. It did get rid of the bubbles too. I did not have preservative in the mix. With some preservatives. If you get the temp too high then they are ineffective.
