I have 96% LABSA and I add sodium hydroxide flakes (guess 97 or 98%) at 1% to start with. Weigh the batch water, add the alkali and let dissolve. Slowly then add LABSA, will be immediately clear. Mix well for 5 minutes and then add the other surfactants if you have in the formulation. Finally adjust the pH if needed. Generally I have to adjust at the end of the process.
