    What should be the ph?
    Thanks!

We've discussed this before, surely? Have the product properly tested for moulds and bacteria. I cannot see why it should irritate, otherwise. Unless there is something you are not telling us.

    @Halim:

Is "parfum" in your formula a fragrance or a preservative.  If it is a fragrance, that is your most likely culprit causing irritation.
Chemist/Microbiologist formulating in the Organic & Naturals arena under ECOCert/Natural Products Assn/Whole Foods/National Organic Program guidelines focused skincare & haircare products.

    - Are you saying there is isothiazolinone in the product? If so, I am not surprised at irritation. Eventually your skin will break out in pustules.

    Dear Belassi
They accept this combination for skin off products
Sometimes big raw material suppliers recommend it
And I want to ask another question in our lab working we use paint disperser with very low speed
Maybe this are not suitable for making soap
Because our mixers have a lot of clove(teeth)
maybe with this kind of mixer we broke raw materials Bond when we mix the soap
    Best Regards

I don't care what they accept. thiazolinones are horrible. I have a dog here that has to take expensive medication as a result of being shampooed with a shampoo (a Harz product) that had that preservative and there are large numbers of complaints. If that is in your hand soap, get ready for the legal bills when your customers get atopic dermatitis.

Please Revise your formulation . Maintain purification and perfection . For preservative follow EU and FDA rules and regulations . You can take help from expert formulators from this forum . Also many discussions about handwash in previous threads .
  • @Halim try this formula
    All in active percentage
    SLES %10
    CAPB %1
    Coco glucoside %1
    Salt no more than %2
    A gentle broad spectrum preservative

Benzoyl alcohol at %1 is more gentle than (CIT/MIT) at %0.01.

Don't look at big companies. You don't know how much they use. May be they can preserve the product with %0.001 but you cant at %0.01.

Use a different mixing tank than what you use for paint and see the results.
For us no matter how much we clean the tank after making Shampoo, when we add water in the tank for next time use it does some foam. So maybe something from your paint is remaining in the tank and mixed with hand wash
