  • Ethanol for solubalizing

I have been on the hunt for a 95% alcohol to dissolve essential oils into a water base but it is not easy to get in my location. I am wondering what is the difference between perfumers alcohol 95% ethanol 5% water an T- butyl and methylated spirits 95% ethanol and 5% water (no denaturants listed on the MSDS for the brand). I already use the methylated spirits for cleaning and succesfully experimented with dissolving the EO to make a room spray. Is ethanol ethanol or are their differences in manufacturing that make one safe for skin and the other unsafe? Just really curious now and have searched for the answer without success.
