Skin Care Ingredients and Cosmetic Claims Substantiation

Hi,

Could you recommend resources to learn more about cosmetic claim substantiation (in vitro and in vivo) for skin care ingredients? I work at an ingredients manufacturer and want to learn more about how I can best provide substantiation for skin care ingredients (actives & functional raw materials) via in vitro & in vivo methods. I welcome any recommendations for books, articles, experts, testing houses, courses, advice, etc.

Thanks so much for your help!

If you are in central North America I recommend Bria Research Labs in Libertyville, Illinois. [www.brialab.net] These folks are old hands at claims substantiation.
  • Pubmed is usually a great resource. Here is an example: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2921764/
  • Careprost is made in India but Careprost is available for sale in the USA, and there are several reliable Careprost USA sellers like Meds4care. Meds4care is an online pharmacy that I have been shopping for my meds for the past one year. My overall experience has been on Meds4care, and do not buy my medicines from elsewhere so I can help you with the pricing details on this website.
