BATH OIL NOT DISSOLVING IN WATER

hi ..we made a small batch of bath oil and it is being used either in shower after cleansing or pour in tub. now basically the water supposed to be little warm in both the cases otherwise its effectiveness doesnt come across much. but we are facing issues like
-feeling little tangy on the skin if directly tapped on the skin as it is supposed to lock the moisture
-doesnt dissolve itself untill shaken enough in water if used in tub

the formulation

sunflower oil- 50%
isopropyl myristate - 10%
capryl triglyceride -   20
ehtyl hexyl cocoate - 5%

glyceryl stearate- 5%

oleth 10 - 5%

bht - 0.5%

vitamin E- 1%

fragrance - 3-4 % ( natural attar or essential oil)

Comments

  • Leave the IPM & Capryl Triglyceride.

Add the percentage to the sunflower oil.

Takeout the GMS and OLETH10, Decrease the BHT to 0.05%-0.1%
    Substitute them to Lauramide DEA-0.5-1.0%,
    And Laureth4-12%-15%.

Check the pH in 5% water solution.
If necessary, dissolve Citric Acid in a bit of Propylene Glycol and add to the production process and re-check the pH in 5% water solution.
